Placement scheme

We offer unpaid placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students throughout the year.

In order to apply it is not necessary to be a law student but, if you are not, you must be able to demonstrate a specific interest in family law. Preference will be given to applicants who are intending a career as a family lawyer.

There are a large number of applications but we usually take one student at a time. The minimum placement period is two weeks.

If you wish to be considered for a placement, please send us your CV and a covering letter by post or by email to panayik@dawsoncornwell.com. Please mark your letter or email for the attention of Kate Allen.

Your application should specify the length of placement you seek and the dates you are available.

If you wish to be considered for placements after April 2008, your application should be submitted by 31st January 2008.

Applications will not be considered until the closing date.

Most placements to April 2008 have already been filled.
